quilting and hoping

….i took the time this morning to begin a little quilt for tonya’s challenge-class for AAQI… luckily i got the letters pieced before my machine died. i am hoping i can get it to work. at the same time i am hoping it is really dead. it is such a piece of crap. i would like to get one that is more cooperative. or just stay unplugged. i used some dramatic hand dyed fabric from deb. i wanted hope to fade in and out like it does. how we all know it does.the background is all indigo faded through the years. i like indigo for that reason. it is more beautiful with age and wear. like hope.
